Symbols in IMROSKA
IMROSKA means “I am Roxana Ostroveanu, alias SKA.”
For years, the world of fashion knows me as SKA, a nickname that I will explain in another article. But this is not the only symbol used in this brand.
When we create, the entire world is our inspiration: the people around us, the wind, a child, the eyes of a stranger or our dreams.
There is no coincidence in this human experience, just ways to communicate in the most subtle conceivable way. And there is nothing more attractive for IMROSKA than the spiritual world mixing with luxury, the material blending into the immaterial, the tangible and the intangible.
The inspiration for the star vector is exactly this indefinable power of both sides: a Merkabah with lotus leaves.
The Merkabah, meaning Light Body, is a vehicle that transports us from the material world to the spiritual world. It combines sacred geometry and light energy to link your physical, mental, and spiritual being to the Supreme Being. Our light body helps us align ourselves to our true purpose and passion on Earth.
On the other hand, the lotus flower is associated with purity, spiritual awakening, and faithfulness, because it is totally able to emerge from murky waters in the morning and be perfectly clean. It is also known to symbolize purity of speech, body, and mind, a perfect alignment that creates the joy of life itself.
It is this belief my inspiration, and a greater challenge is to bring this essence into the world of fashion and even to transcend it: artisanry and good vibes, high-end fabrics, luxurious laces and hand-made embroideries mixed with beautiful hearted people who contribute to the process of creating each piece of the collections and each step that brings the product into your garderobe. Sensibility, attitude, a certain psychology, a state of mind are just a few attributes that suit best to the brand.
This is the legacy, a moment in fashion that could become eternal.
