Romanian designer honored at Paris Fashion Week 2025

Fashion designer Roxana Ostroveanu received accolades at Paris Fashion Week 2025, where she presented her new IMROSKA collection, titled Zebra. Her talent was honored with the Visionary Design Award by FashionTV.

In an interview with Click!, Roxana Ostroveanu talked about her latest success and the whole experience in Paris.

“The award I received is a confirmation that my vision, my creative personality translated into my creations, resonates with the people I address. It’s a moment that I’m very happy about, but which, as I was saying, also motivates me to go further”, says Roxana Ostroveanu.

“Zebra is a symbol of balance and authenticity”

The new Zebra collection has been enthusiastically received by the public. Roxana Ostroveanu has created pieces that combine elegance, contrast and freedom of expression.

“I wanted to explore this idea of duality and harmony of contrasts. Zebra is a symbol of balance, but also of authenticity, because it is an animal that cannot be domesticated. Just like the women who wear IMROSKA’s creations: strong, elegant and with an assumed identity”, said the designer.

Roxana also said that she is fascinated by symbols, meaningful stories, deep things that give food for thought:

“Zebra seemed to me to be a symbol extremely rich in symbolism: an animal that cannot be domesticated, wild, authentic, but at the same time so elegant. I wanted to create clothes that reflect this broad concept, to be worn by women like me, who assume their own freedom and individuality”

The designer was asked about her experience at Paris Fashion Week 2025, which she described as a true test of creativity.

“Paris is magic. And Paris Fashion Week is the real litmus test for creators, as I have said in other interviews. The competition is huge and the public is extremely demanding. I was very happy to see how my collection generated positive reactions in the room, it’s a great honor, and the final appreciation was that Zebra is a very original collection. People connected with what I created and everything had a very nice energy”, said Roxana.

Visionary Design Award

FashionTV’s Visionary Design Award confirms the uniqueness of Roxana Ostroveanu’s vision.

Asked about the significance of the award, Roxana expressed her gratitude and fulfillment: “FashionTV is a name with weight, and to be called a visionary is a confirmation of the uniqueness of my creations, but also a confirmation that the direction I have chosen, to combine luxury with authenticity, to give soul to clothes, is a relevant direction. I create not just for aesthetics, but to convey something that is part of me and my vision of the world. So this award shows me that I’m on the right track.”

“IMROSKA is not just a brand, it’s a state of mind. It’s about freedom, it’s about wearing something that deeply represents you. For me, fashion is more than beauty – it’s energy, story, emotion”, the fashion designer concludes.
